Class Synopsis: This class is open to professionals to learn more about funding sources available - How to find out exactly what the funder wants, what they really fund and for how much. There will be direct tips from grant funders. Participants will also learn how to ease the process of being awarded a grant, how to track their grant awards and how to sustain the good work that has begun.
Non-refundable class fee is $30 for KPGA members, $60 for non-member. Payment is made at the door by cash or check payable to KPGA. Certificates of completion will be provided. Seating is limited.
Participants may bring in their own beverages and snacks.

Grant Writing 101 for Beginners

Class Synopsis: This class is open to anyone that wants to get started writing grants. We start off with 10 things your board needs to know about grants. We will discuss the terminology of the grant world, what an organization needs to start writing successful grants, a general overview of how to find a grant and more.
Non-refundable class fee is $30 for KPGA members, $60 for non-members (Hint: join KPGA at the door for $25 and then pay $30 class fee so you save $5). Cash or check payable to KPGA is required at the door on day of event.
